It's time for some good, healthy grub in between all the feasting and sweets overload of Thanksgiving and Christmas! With all the parties, shindigs and activities of the season, I try to keep things simple and healthy at home. I'm also trying to keep my grocery shopping to a minimum and use up the things we have in the freezer and pantry. Here's what's on our menu this week.
fruit served every day
toast and jelly
Fresh Fig Bread (from the freezer)
Banana Wheat Germ Muffins (from Weelicious, in the freezer)
Moroccan Couscous and Chickpea Salad (didn't get around to this last week!)
sunbutter/peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
cheese and tortilla roll-ups
cheese, crackers, and fruit
Blue Ribbon Granola Bars
Baked Pancake Muffins from Family Fresh Meals
Mmmmm Minestrone, homemade bread, fruit
spaghetti with marinara sauce, steamed broccoli, fruit
homemade pizza, garden salad, fruit
stir fry veggies, rice, fruit
